The Dolphin | A Healer of Toxins

Dolphins are usually associated with happy feelings. They’re playful, joyous and above all, they are deeply intelligent. But how do we even begin measuring intelligence? What is the ‘intelligent’ thing to do in a particular situation?

Beyond our IQ tests and scholastic abilities, there is the intelligence that comes from knowing how to make the right decisions. To do that, we have to undertake a long period study where we gain practical and hands on experience. During that process, it goes without saying that mistakes will be made. We may make some poor choices. And most of these choices have to do with the people we have chosen to surround ourselves with.

Who are the people in your friendship circle and in your network? That’s where it all begins, doesn’t it?

If there is a toxic relationship in your midst, would you allow this toxicity to spillover into all your other relationships? Recently, I read an article about toxicology. I don’t usually read articles related to the medical profession, but I was intrigued by the process of healing and how healing actually takes place.

I had this idea in my mind that the moment a wounding occurs in your life, it is an incredible opportunity to heal. It is not so much that what does not kill you makes you stronger; it is more that when we are wounded, we look for people who can heal us and restore our health.

Whoever feels wounded usually has a reason for feeling wounded. One of the worst things we can do in those circumstances is to pretend that the wound does not exist. Wounds present us with a tremendous opportunity to heal. But first, we must acknowledge the toxin that is present in our life.

Only then can we begin to heal.

When it comes to energy healing or alternative therapies, there is little scientific evidence to explain exactly how it works. At the same time, it appears to benefit the person who is receiving the healing.

The caveat remains that while we do not understand the mechanism by which the healing occurs, energy healing is a complementary therapy and should not ever replace science.
