Beyond the Tide | On Samsara, Liberation, and Kingfisher

For lifetimes beyond counting, the archetype of Pisces has traversed the restless, shifting currents of existence. We drift, we love, we bind ourselves to mortal forms, and we mistake the transient warmth of earthly attachments for home. But every birth within the realm of mortal entanglement carries the quiet guarantee of grief. Each cycle tightens the invisible net of samsara—the endless wheel of death, longing, and rebirth.

There comes a moment in every prolonged cycle of suffering when endurance ceases to be a virtue and becomes a form of spiritual entrapment.

To be birthed into mortality is to accept the limitations of form, memory, and suffering. For a time, those limitations serve a purpose; they refine us through trial and devotion. Yet, as the soul nears its culmination, the yearning changes. It is no longer a desire for another chance at human happiness, but a resolute refusal to return to the illusion of separation.

The Kingfisher enters precisely at this stillness. Unlike the creature that merely floats upon the surface of emotional tides, the kingfisher possesses the clarity to gaze into unfathomable depths and strike with absolute precision. It represents the sharp, penetrating insight required to break through the veil of delusion.

When Pisces declares an end to mortal rebirth, it is an act of supreme surrender. The grip of karmic destiny loosens not through force, but through complete awakening to who we are beyond the flesh. The womb of mortality has given all that it can give; what lies ahead is no longer a journey of return, but a dive into the limitless expanse of eternal truth.

Om Namah Shivaya.
