Just a little bit of understanding can bring about a tremendous change in your life. But first of all, you must know what you need to change and what you need to keep. A small seed, carries within it, the great tree. But when we look at seeds, we don’t see a tree. We see something small and perhaps even something insignificant.
Since we cannot see the future, we may choose not to invest in the tiny seed that has been given to us. Instead, we go chasing after the fruits and the flowers that trees create.
Give nourishment to it, support it, remove all hinderances on its path–and a small seed–which is just a tiny important thing, may, in the future, come to complete fruition. The tree will grow very high and perhaps one day, it will even dream of the stars.

If you have understood all that your teachers have tried to teach you, you become trapped. Why? You can only understand as much as you have experienced. Your teachers are teaching you of their own experiences and of the experiences of others.
They are not teaching you about the Self that exists within you.
Once you have experienced, you can know. You know that you are both the seed and the tree. You know that you are the fruit. You know that you are the flowers. All of this and so much more exists within you. A true teacher cannot teach you that. He can only ever make you understand it and fathom the limitlessness of your potential.
