Death can occur at any moment; and it often does. Everyday we deal with death–in a big or small way. We come to realise that endings must happen.
Therefore, if you have ‘something’ to do, then you must always do it completely. Never be incomplete. Because you never know when death will come and take from you what was never yours to keep.
When someone disappears from your life, be it suddenly or on schedule, understand that the time had come. The time had come for an ending.

I attended a meeting recently where we discussed death deeply. Life absorbs much of our energy when we are alive. We are caught in the rat race, this race to survive.
As we finish and complete our journey in the rat race, we can either be sad and anxious as we don’t want the situation to come to an end; or we can be blissful as we accept the fact that life is always full of endings.
An ending is a blessing. It indicates that whatever has been absorbing your energy for such a long time is coming to an end. Use this interval–this place of completion–to release the old as you usher in the new.
There is no longer any need to finish what you started. It is now over. Your journey is complete.
May the seahorse bring you a new beginning.
