Exciting News: The River Empress Is Released Today!

Today, I mark the release of my new book, The River Empress. This story has been with me for a long time—woven from threads of Korean mythology, Hindu philosophy, and the many painful questions that have lingered in my heart.

The River Empress follows a goddess who descends from the heavens to live among mortals, searching for her truth and her place in a world that both reveres and rejects the divine feminine. It is a meditation on karma, on the delicate balance between past and future, and on the cycles that shape our lives in ways we often cannot see.

“From heavenly heights, a goddess falls to earth, into time’s fertile soil. The divine feminine, venerated and vilified, revered and rejected, wanders among mortals, seeking her truth and her place…”

Writing this book was a deeply personal journey—one of unraveling and understanding, of embracing both light and shadow. It is my hope that through these pages, readers may find a quiet space to reflect on their own stories and the unseen forces that guide us.

In the goddess’s journey, I see echoes of the silent fate endured by countless women across the world—lives shaped by disappointment, abandonment, and resilience that often go unspoken. Too often, women’s stories are whispered rather than told, their struggles and strengths hidden beneath the surface of daily life. The divine feminine, like so many women, is both venerated and vilified, revered and rejected, asked to bear burdens in silence while the world looks away.

Through The River Empress, I wanted to give voice to these quiet truths—to honour the courage it takes to keep moving forward, to hold on to hope, and to seek meaning even when the world offers little encouragement and acknowledgment. This book is for every woman who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or misunderstood. May you find, within these pages, a sense of recognition and a reminder that your story matters.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I offer this book with gratitude and a quiet hope that it may touch something meaningful in you.
