There are certain periods in our lives when the need to keep things out of view from others becomes absolutely necessary. During these periods, we may choose not to be totally forthcoming in our relationships. There’s probably a reason why a person has made that choice. It could be due to their conditioning and their upbringing. In my experience, I’ve found that it is mostly a self-protective mechanism. They just don’t really want to get hurt. They just don’t want to take the risk to allow others to truly get to know them.
Before we make the decision to be sneaky, a good question to ask oneself is: when is a good time to hide the truth?

The seal is a naturally friendly animal. It is sociable and mixes with its group. At the same time, they are not known for the fidelity and loyalty. In intimate relationships, they change their partners often. The seal represents and heralds a period of change when opposites come together. If promiscuity has been a problem in your life, the advise is to try and be in a monogamous relationship. For people who are used to roaming around and playing the field, the decision to be monogamous can only come when you meet someone you truly love and therefore are willing to make a romantic commitment.
Many times we are unable to make a romantic commitment because we have unresolved spiritual and emotional issues that stem from our mothers.
The friendly nature of the seal allows it to forge many friendships, but not many lasting relationships and bonds. It is all fair and good to explore shiny new things, but much like sandcastles, these are not meant or made to last.
If you want a relationship that lasts, you will just have to commit to it.
