You have to create your own path to your very own temple. That is why personal and family altars are so powerful. To pray, to truly pray, no help is possible. You, and only you, can follow your own path. You will have to reach the divine within on your own.

By following someone else’s path, you become a sheep and if you stay on that path, you will remain a sheep.

Whenever you are with a crowd, you will always have to compromise. When you are with a crowd, you will have to listen to others. They will criticise you. They will praise you. They will elevate you. Those same people will later condemn you. When you are in a crowd, you cannot be as you are. You will have to be as they are. You will have to follow the status quo.

But the status quo will never satisfy you. The status quo has never satisfied anyone.

Unless you make a conscious decision each day not to compromise your values, you will not remain unaffected by the crowds in which you find yourself. You will find that they will try to change you and make you just like them. But this is not possible.

They want you to be one of them. If you refuse, you will still be a sheep. But now, you will be a black sheep. They will not only condemn you, they will also ostracise you. Their status quo has given them the right to do that.

You have your own destiny. Just like everybody else has his or her own destiny. Is it your destiny to be a sheep? Maybe it is. Maybe it is not.

Unless you flower–unless you allow the seeds within you to blossom–you will not find the bliss that you seek. You will not be happy. You will always live your life with regret. You will know that you did not make the necessary sacrifice you had to make to get the result that you wanted.

When you enter your inner temple, who do you see? In this temple, you have no choice but fly. You will not be able to leave footprints. You cannot leave footprints because there is no road here.

You simply have to spread your wings and fly.
