Moonstone | The Gem of Ebb and Flow

Moonstone can be found in Armenia, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Burma, Australia, India as well as the United States. In ages past, the most valuable moonstones came from Myanmar. Today, however, most commercial moonstones come from Sri Lanka.

The vibration and frequency of Moonstone encourages us to pay attention to the water cycles of our lives. Every cycle we complete takes us one step higher on the great spiral of life. With each cycle that we live to its fullest potential; our wisdom, understanding and self-knowledge increase exponentially.

The Moon and the Earth share a close relationship. Even from the scientific perspective, the moon plays a vital role on earth due to the relationship it has with all water bodies on earth.

The moonstone’s ability to assist an individual to sort through one’s highs and lows can allow a person to gain a higher perspective of the ups and downs of life and not get too identified with either the highs or the lows. It can aid a person in releasing their frustrations and just go with the flow.

Just as each moonstone looks different from all other moonstones, these stones remind us that we are all not the same. We are constantly changing through the ups and downs of life. Our individual identity is both precious and valuable, but it is neither static nor stagnant. It takes courage to be true to ourselves, especially when we are under pressure to surrender to the will of others.

The moonstone can facilitate the activation of the Rainbow Body: the higher self by which our individual consciousness travels through all the worlds.
